Junior Scholarship Application
CALLING ALL 2027 GRADS!
The Oklahoma Angus Association recognizes the hard work, dedication, and commitment required to build a successful Angus operation. We also understand the importance of continuing your education and seeking opportunities to improve your herd and your future in the Angus industry.
The Oklahoma Angus Scholarship is designed to help graduating seniors achieve those goals. In addition to being considered for the state scholarship, applicants have the opportunity to be entered into consideration for the American Angus Auxiliary Scholarship. However, you MUST apply on the state level to move onto the national.
Applications must be requested from the state contact or downloaded from the official website. Applications must be typewritten, use the current official format, and not exceed eight pages. Only white 20-24# paper is accepted; no extra pages or double-sided printing. Include a current official high school transcript. Include three letters of recommendation, one from each specified category (state association, school/employer/church, and FFA/4-H/industry). More than one letter from any category will disqualify the applicant. Include professional headshot photos and up to six additional photos as specified.
For more information and application details, contact Sydnee Gifford at sydneegerken@gmail.com.
